I walked in to this place and asked some questions at the front desk and wanted to know of their service and the female ( she looked to be brown) was acting like a mean girl and instead of helping me by answering my questions she unnecessarily went ahead and suggested I fix my double chin that respectfully doesn’t even exist. She purposely suggested that to make me feel less than her Botox self and made me feel super disrespected. I don’t appreciate plastic people suggesting me to get anything done. I hope this place can train their employees better in order to assist customer and build their business rather than lose customers.

I had a consultation with dr. Shari gynaecologist, & she suggested that I get a procedure done with her for the issue that’s been bothering me. So I decided to try something different this time instead of medications & moisturizers that does seem to help. It seems it’s working but I need to wait 3 months for final result as the dr said.

The staff is very kind, especially Dana, the medical aesthetician who does my sessions. Super nice & she explain everything in details while doing the session. She is a very joyful person with a beautiful smile on her face always. You also feel her honesty with her words in any questions you ask.
I would come back especially for her. I want to try her facials and other stuff she does.

I can’t say enough of her she really is the sweetest and kind and professional person I have ever met. Before I came to VitalityMd, I had insomnia from itching, burning due to LS. I couldn't sit properly. I started avoiding social situations because of the discomfort. I invested in different creams and use to carry a pillow around for sitting. Coming to after my LS treatment at vitalityMD: Dr. Caplan is the most knowledgeable dr about LS I met in the last 40 years. I don't have to carry around the pillow anymore. I reduced the barrier creams by three quarters and I never wake up at night with burning and itching. My bowl movements are no longer bleeding. The staff are kind and generous with their time and explanation. Yalda is very professional, kind, empathetic, Pretty and youthful :)

Years ago, I had a great functional medicine doctor who retired. I sought a replacement of her caliber and found Dr. Caplan on Google. My experience was far from satisfactory.

The initial call with Vitality was more of a high-pressure sales pitch than a medical consultation. They requested my credit card details up front, charging $100 for the intake call and an additional $650 for the doctor’s appointment. Bloodwork included tests not covered by OHIP, costing another $130. Despite being willing to spend this much for quality care, I was disappointed.

During my first appointment, Dr. Caplan reviewed my bloodwork while using a pointy keychain to “energetically receive information.” She mentioned things like “yogurt might be okay, but not cottage cheese,” explaining that this practice was similar to using the internet for information.

My bloodwork revealed thyroid antibodies and high inflammation markers—information that a regular physical could have provided for free. Dr. Caplan also sold me supplements she claimed would reduce inflammation.

I expressed concerns about my inability to sleep without aids and my desire to stop using them. She recommended progesterone, despite my ob/gyn having previously discontinued it after a uterine ablation and Mirena IUD insertion. Dr. Caplan assured me up to 300 mg of progesterone was safe.

After starting progesterone, my cycle returned and I experienced nearly a month of continuous bleeding. When I contacted the office, I was told Dr. Caplan was on vacation and I could only get a $150 telephone appointment a month later. I declined and was offered a $150 nurse consultation, which was eventually waived.

The nurse, unsure of what to do, consulted Dr. Caplan, who suggested the symptoms might be due to too much estrogen and advised reducing progesterone to 100 mg per day. I had to pay $300 for a follow-up appointment. Meanwhile, my ob/gyn advised stopping progesterone, which resolved my symptoms.

I requested my bloodwork results from Vitality, but they only sent partial results and said I would have to contact Life Labs for the rest. Overall, this experience was expensive, unsatisfactory and ultimately useless. I do not recommend this clinic.

Had an unpleasant conversation with the nurse on staff, Tanya Thompson, regarding making a booking. The front desk was not knowledgable about the requirements needed to go forward with the appointment and the nurse required me to go to my doctor for forms to be sent or spend an additional $100 for administrative costs. When I said that I had spoken with the administrative staff on three separate occasions about what was needed, she was dismissive and rude. She even complained about having to make the call on her lunch break (a call time that I did not sent myself.)

My concern is that is the nurse is this aggressive on the phone, what must she be like if you have questions or concerns during your treatment. Very worrying!

I initially searched out the clinic as I was looking for a Naturopath. I scheduled a consultation, and discovered the this medical spa has so much more to offer than I had expected. I am finally able to heal my acne scars through Scarlet RF and Laser Genesis treatments, am decreasing my facial lines, and lifting and firming all without fillers, and then...there's the amazing O-Shot. Who ever knew! If you don't you should check it out.

This is my second review after doing O-Shot number 2 for my Interstitial Cystitis symptoms and I could not be happier with the results. Dr. Caplan was incredibly thorough with my follow up consultation after my first O-Shot and asked detailed questions about my post injection experience and timeline for symptom improvement. She has a knack for being sensitive and sympathetic while maintaining her sense of clinical professionalism and always offers multi-disciplinary advice such as diet changes and holistic options in conjunction with her own treatments. My first O-Shot yielded noticable symptom improvement from my ongoing urethral burning and inflammation, allowing me to sleep 3-4 hours without having to get up and pee. It also helped with daytime urinary urgency and frequency. During my second O-Shot, Dr. Caplan was even more specific in targeting her injections around and inside my urethral opening. I am now able to sleep 4-5 hours consecutively on most nights and sometimes as long as 6 hours without having to get up and pee. For those who have never had bladder issues, this may not seem significant but to anyone with a bladder disease this is monumental. Getting proper sleep affects everything from physical healing to relationships to psychological well being. I have had I.C. since my 20's and am currently 53. After trying numerous medications, pelvic floor physiotherapy, surgical procedures and countless other therapies, the O-Shot is the first solution I've found that has made a noticeable difference in my quality of life. I would urge anyone with a bladder or vaginal condition to meet with Dr. Caplan to discuss whether the O-Shot might help to alleviate their symptoms. I am now convinced that the O-Shot works for my Interstitial Cystitis symptoms and look forward to further improvement after my next injection. I believe that ongoing maintenance shots will continue to give me quality of life that I have been missing out on. Thank you so much to Dr. Caplan and her kind staff!

I have Interstitial Cystitis and decided to try the O-Shot with targeted injections to my outer urethral area where constant burning has been a symptom for 20+ years. It took a little longer than expected (about 8-10 weeks post injection), but the effects have been quite amazing. I can fall asleep most nights without feeling a constant inflammatory sensation in my urethra and during the day I am hardly aware of any burning at all. This symptom of my disease has improved by about 40 % after one injection and my urinary frequency and urgency has improved by about 20 %. I am anxious to meet with Dr. Caplan to book another O-Shot and hope to have compounded positive effects from the second injection. I would urge anyone with urinary disease to consider trying the O-Shot since it's the only thing that has made this much difference in my comfort since I was diagnosed with IC. The clinic is very professional and Dr. Caplan takes every patient's history into account to make suggestions that are best suited to them.
