Marta discovered a passion for movement in her 20’s when she moved to Toronto and stumbled upon a mat Pilates class downtown. She was instantly bitten by the bug and wanted to share and educate others. Soon after the same thing happened with Yoga. She is certified through Body Harmonics in mat Pilates and reformer and various equipment with Stott. She did her Hatha Vinyasa teacher training through the Yoga Sanctuary where she was humbled, profoundly moved and blissed out daily. She is also a Personal Trainer through Can-Fit Pro and enjoys adding that conditioning element to all her classes.
Marta’s mission is to help facilitate the improved movement, strength and flexibility to those lives she comes across daily, promoting an overall better way of living. She believes in teaching as a practice to give people the fundamental power and flexibility to move better in everyday life. She does this by treating the body as a whole and doing so with energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humor to develop rapport with people while encouraging her students to have fun.
