Irena is a Registered Nurse training with Dr Caplan since August 2013. She has acquired expertise in areas of stress management , weight loss, and hormone balance including the use of bio-identical hormones. She is a team player and always willing to go the extra mile so that patients’ needs are met.

She obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing in 2012 at Adelphi University in New York. As part of her clinical training, she rotated through a wide variety of clinical settings and encountered patients with many different types of diseases.

Her most notable experience was during her time spent as a Nurse Intern in the Oncology department at the Beth Israel Medical Centre in New York City. Taking care of patients with terminal illness is a humbling experience and a reminder that we need to be thankful for the things that we have.

Irena has experience in Customer service and Sales having worked at Microsoft Canada.

Irena is always striving to broaden her knowledge base, and on her free time she attends conferences, seminars and listens to webinars to keep herself current with the ever-changing medical literature in these above areas.
