Facial Reconstructive Surgery
Dr. David Ellis is a Professor at the University of Toronto, Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Division of Facial Plastic Surgery. He was Chairman of Continuing Medical Education for the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery from 1984 to 1988. He is actively involved in practicing and teaching Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto and teaches core lectures on Facial Plastic Surgery to residents in the Otolaryngology program. Dr. Ellis has also lectured internationally on many Facial Plastic Surgery topics including Rhinoplasty, Fillers + Botox. In addition to his practice at the University of Toronto, he is also an active staff member at the Toronto General Hospital.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in various societies and boards. He is the past president of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and of the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also a past board member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
